Advanced PHP & MySQL
Build secure, database-driven web applications with modern PHP and MySQL.
A self-paced virtual internship covering the three core web technologies - HTML, CSS and JavaScript - ending with a responsive, interactive web page you build as your capstone project.
Every website you visit is built on three core technologies: HTML for structure, CSS for presentation and JavaScript for behaviour. The Web Development Basics Internship is a self-paced virtual internship that introduces all three in a clear, practical order, so you understand how a web page is put together from the ground up.
Across four modules you learn to write well-structured, accessible HTML, style pages with CSS selectors and the box model, build flexible layouts with Flexbox and media queries, and add interactivity with JavaScript variables, functions, events and DOM manipulation. Each module includes written study material with short code examples and ends with a timed online exam that checks your understanding.
The final module gives you a capstone project brief: a responsive personal portfolio page with a working, validated contact form. You build it with a code editor and a browser - no paid tools needed - and you can publish it as a sample of your work. When you pass the module exams, you receive a QR-verifiable internship certificate that records your internship period.
This internship is suitable for beginners. No previous programming experience is needed; you only need basic computer skills, a modern web browser and a free code editor such as Visual Studio Code.
Course duration: 45 days – 3 months · 40 hours of learning
Modules unlock one after another. Pass each module exam to open the next.

This is a self-paced virtual internship. You learn HTML, CSS and JavaScript through four modules of study material, check your progress with an online exam after each module, and finish by building your own web page.
In Module 4 you build a responsive personal portfolio page using semantic HTML, an external CSS file with a Flexbox layout and media queries, and JavaScript that validates a contact form and adds a small interactive feature. You submit your project files and, optionally, a link to the page hosted on a free static hosting service.
After you meet the exam requirements, you receive a digital internship certificate in Web Development Basics that shows your name, the program and your internship period. Each certificate carries a unique number and a QR code, so a college or employer can confirm it on the DataSquare Solutions verification page. This is a self-paced virtual internship: it does not include live mentoring, and it is not a job or placement offer.
The study material is designed for about 40 hours of learning. Your internship period depends on the duration option you choose at enrollment, and you can study at your own pace within that period.
No. The internship begins with the basics of how the web works. You need basic computer skills, a modern browser and a free code editor such as Visual Studio Code.
Each module has a timed online multiple-choice exam that you need to pass with at least 60%. You get 2 free attempts per module, and extra attempts can be purchased if you need them.
Once you pass all four modules with an overall average of at least 70%, you receive an internship certificate that shows your internship period. Anyone can verify it online by scanning its QR code or entering the certificate number.
The capstone is a responsive personal portfolio page described in Module 4. You build it yourself with HTML, CSS and JavaScript, including a validated contact form, and you can publish it as a portfolio sample.
