Advanced PHP & MySQL
Build secure, database-driven web applications with modern PHP and MySQL.
A self-paced virtual internship in full stack web development with PHP and MySQL. Study four modules, pass online module exams, build a secure database-driven capstone project and earn a QR-verifiable internship certificate.
The Full Stack Web Development (PHP & MySQL) Internship is a self-paced virtual internship for learners who already know basic HTML and CSS and want to build real, database-driven web applications. You will work through server-side PHP, relational database design with MySQL, and the techniques used to connect the two into a working application.
The programme is organised into four modules that follow the order in which a developer actually builds a project: first the language, then the database, then the application layer, and finally security and deployment. Each module comes with structured study notes and a timed online multiple-choice exam, so you can check your understanding before moving on.
The internship ends with a capstone project brief in which you plan and build a small full stack application of your own. The finished project gives you something concrete to show in a portfolio, and on meeting the exam requirements you receive a QR-verifiable internship certificate that records your internship period.
This internship suits learners who are comfortable with basic web pages and want to move into server-side development.
Course duration: 3 months – 6 months · 60 hours of learning
Modules unlock one after another. Pass each module exam to open the next.
Learn how PHP runs on the server and master the core language features needed to build dynamic pages. This module also covers handling form data sent from the browser.
Outcomes: Explain how PHP processes requests on a web server; Use variables, arrays, operators and control structures; Write reusable functions and read form data
Design relational databases and write SQL to store and retrieve application data. You will learn keys, relationships, normalisation and the queries used every day in web development.
Outcomes: Design tables with suitable keys and data types; Write SELECT queries with filtering, sorting and joins; Apply normalisation to reduce data redundancy
Connect PHP to MySQL and build the features found in real applications. You will create CRUD pages, manage sessions and logins, validate forms and handle file uploads.
Outcomes: Connect to MySQL using PDO and handle errors; Build create, read, update and delete pages; Manage user sessions, redirects and form validation
Protect your application with proven defensive practices and prepare it for a live server. The module ends with the capstone project brief for your internship.
Outcomes: Apply defences against common web vulnerabilities; Store passwords and configuration securely; Prepare and document an application for deployment

Take the module exams in order — pass one to unlock the next. 2 attempts per module.
Reach a 70% average across all modules to unlock your verifiable e-Certificate.
Four module exams of 10 multiple-choice questions each (15 minutes per module). Pass each module with 60% and reach a 70% overall average to earn your internship certificate.
| Module exams | 4, taken in order (each module unlocks after the previous one is passed) |
|---|---|
| Questions per module | 10 multiple-choice |
| Pass mark per module | 60% (unless stated on the module) |
| Needed for the e-Certificate | All modules passed and an average of 70% or more (best score of each module, weighted by marks) |
| Attempts | 2 free attempts per module; an extra attempt costs ₹199 |
| Completion deadline | All module exams must be completed within your course duration (extension of 30 days available for ₹299) |
| Certificate release | On the end date of your course, after all requirements are met |
| Grading | Automatic, immediately after submission |
On completion you receive a QR-verifiable digital internship certificate showing your name, the program, your internship period and learning hours. Anyone can verify it online using the certificate number.

This is a self-paced virtual internship. You decide when to study and when to take each exam, and all learning happens through the study material provided for each module. There are no live classes, assigned mentors or placement commitments.
Module 4 contains a capstone brief for a small database-driven web application with user login, CRUD features and basic security measures. You build it independently and can host it on GitHub or a web server to share with recruiters or faculty.
After passing all module exams with the required scores, you receive a digital internship certificate with a unique QR code. Anyone can scan the code to verify the certificate, your name, the programme and your internship period.
The programme is designed for about 60 hours of study. Because it is self-paced, you can complete it faster or spread it across several weeks, and your certificate shows your actual internship period.
No prior PHP knowledge is required, but you should be comfortable with basic HTML and CSS. Module 1 introduces PHP from the fundamentals.
You get 2 free attempts for each module exam. If you need more, additional attempts can be purchased from your dashboard.
Each certificate carries a unique QR code. Scanning it opens a verification page that confirms your name, the programme and your internship period.
No, the capstone is completed independently using the brief in Module 4. It is meant to give you a practical project for your portfolio, and you can share it on GitHub or your own hosting.
