Cloud Computing & DevOps Internship
A self-paced virtual internship covering cloud fundamentals, Linux, Git, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code and Kubernetes, with module-wise online exams, a capstone project and a QR-verifiable internship certificate.
Overview
The Cloud Computing & DevOps Internship is a self-paced virtual internship for learners who want a structured, practical grounding in how modern applications are built, shipped and run in the cloud. The program connects the core ideas of cloud computing with the everyday DevOps practices used to automate delivery and keep systems reliable.
You will begin with cloud service and deployment models, regions, identity and cost concepts, then work through Linux administration basics, version control with Git and containerisation with Docker. From there the internship moves into continuous integration and delivery, Infrastructure as Code with tools such as Terraform and Ansible, and finally container orchestration with Kubernetes alongside monitoring and observability.
Each module comes with concise study notes and a timed online multiple-choice exam. You progress at your own pace, and the final module includes a capstone project brief that asks you to containerise an application, automate its build and describe its deployment. Learners who pass every module exam and meet the overall score requirement receive a QR-verifiable internship certificate that records the internship period.
What this internship covers

- Docker images, containers and Dockerfiles
- Volumes, port mapping and Docker Compose
Outcomes: Manage files and permissions on Linux; Use Git branches, commits and merges; Write Dockerfiles and run multi-container apps
Automate how code is built, tested and released, and manage infrastructure through version-controlled code instead of manual steps.
- Continuous integration, delivery and deployment
- Pipeline stages, artifacts and secrets
- Deployment strategies: rolling, blue-green and canary
- Terraform and Ansible fundamentals
Outcomes: Design a CI/CD pipeline with build and test stages; Choose a safe deployment strategy; Explain Terraform and Ansible workflows
Run containers at scale with Kubernetes, keep them healthy with probes and autoscaling, and observe them with metrics, logs and dashboards.
